Baringo North: Man Arrested After Decomposing Body of Girlfriend Found in His House
A 25-year-old man, Dennis Kipsang, has been arrested in Baringo North following the discovery of his girlfriend’s decomposing body inside his home. Kipsang, employed as a watchman at a local primary school, was detained after neighbors reported a foul odor emanating from his residence, prompting police to investigate.
When officers forced entry into the house, they found the lifeless body of 21-year-old Sharon Chelagat, with a thin wire strip around her neck, indicating possible foul play. Baringo North OCPD Mohamed Abdi confirmed the incident, stating that preliminary investigations suggest Chelagat may have been killed five days earlier, possibly in connection to a suspected love triangle.
The police have launched a full investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
