According to reports, Cynthia was checking the water to see if it was clean enough to fetch for her family. Upon realizing the water was clear, she started running back toward her home. Unfortunately, as she made her way, a thunderstorm struck, following her from the area where she had been digging and hitting her with a fatal blow.
Her sudden and tragic passing has left the community in shock and mourning. She has since been taken to the mortuary as her family and friends come to terms with the devastating loss.
